One of New York’s landmark hotels, the 20-story, one-million-square-foot Plaza Hotel underwent a massive fast-track renovation that included its transformation into 182 luxury condominiums and 250 hotel residences. The project included the installation of over 8,000 light fixtures, 8,000 devices and low-voltage audio-visual systems for each room. Five Star was responsible for the electrical fit-out within the residential apartments. For the retail segment, Five Star completed all power distribution, lighting, lighting control, fire alarm systems, power, telephone data, audio-visual and security systems.
