The Port Authority Trans-Hudson is replacing Substations No. 8 & No.14, which supply electrical power to the PATH rail system. The objective for this project is to modernize the line's infrastructure. Five Star Electric’s work includes the installation of new electrical service equipment, traction power rectifiers and switchgear, auxiliary systems, power, lighting, security, SCADA and communications systems.
