Project Description

The Roosevelt Avenue Signal System development consisted of rehabilitating and modernizing the signal system and constructing new enclosures at the Roosevelt Avenue Station. The existing Roosevelt Avenue Interlocking was replaced with a modern relay-based, fixed-block interlocking. It was coordinated with the 71st Continental Avenue Interlocking line. Five Star Electric’s work involved civil, track, mechanical, electrical, signaling, traction power, communications, and fiber-optic systems.
