Project Description
			As a result of the widespread devastation from Hurricane Sandy, the primary focus of this mission was to recover the South Ferry Station from damages and make it resilient against future category II storms. South Ferry Terminal station consists of one island platform, two mezzanines, one concourse level, street level, and over a mile of train tracks with multiple elevators and escalators.
The scope of Five Star Electric’s work included the replacement of the electrical distribution system, lighting system, heat trace system, signal system, traction power system, automatic fare collection equipment, telephone system, data communication system, security, CCTV, fire alarm system, public address system, police and radio antenna systems, system-wide wireless system, network system, instrumentation and control work for HVAC, ventilation, pumping equipment and traction power.
